This video shows the function of the
larynx in a 34 yr old female patient with a large nodule on the left true vocal cord.   The patient was a non-smoker and had been hoarse for 3 1/2 months. 

She underwent surgery (microdirect laryngoscopy) and had the small nodule on the left cord removed.  Her voice was normal on her first post-operative visit.
